True or False: The Roe v. Wade ruling doesn't apply to partial-birth-abortions?
Pro lifers will never stop on this issue. But their valid points are the following: 1. the science available to the court was vastly less. We now know more about fetal development. 2. The ruling only applies to the overall right, like gun rights, not to the specific ability to get an abortion. Yes a woman can have a abortion, yes the state can license abortion clinics, yes the specific periods when an abortion can be done, and the specific types of abortions available, and rules on consent can be determined by states. A right to an abortion is right to overall access to a legal process.
