How do I tell her? What should I say?

So, I'm an out lesbian, and I'm 17. My friend decided she would try to hook me up with one of her other lesbian friends because she thought we would be "great together". I met her, thought she was really nice, and good looking, and thought we could be good friends. So I went along with it and made casual conversation to be friendly. She gave me her number and said we should hang out again, and I said sure because we got along really well. So, we've hung out as friends about four times since them, nothing like a date at all. But the last time we hung out she touched me a lot more than she had before. I'm getting the hints that she likes me, but she's acting like the top. I'm 5"9, she's 5"6. I'm used to being top. And we're both butch. And I'm really, really confused about what's going on. So I asked her about it, and she told me outright that she likes me and she'd like to go out. If I tried, would it just end up horribly awkward, or should I just go for it?
